From my studio to your home, every detail matters.
When you invest in a fine art print from Terri Madden Studio, I want you to feel confident that you’re getting something truly special ~ something that will last.
I partner with a locally owned, professional fine art printing business just down the road. Their team has over 20 years of experience in scanning, colour matching, file preparation, and printing and it absolutely shows in the final result.
Here’s how the process unfolds:
Scanning the Original
Once a painting is complete, it’s carefully scanned using state-of-the-art equipment that captures every brushstroke, texture, and subtle detail. This part always amazes me, seeing my work transformed into a digital file without losing any of the heart.
Colour Correction
From there, I work closely with the printing team to fine-tune the colours. This is where the magic really happens. We compare the digital file to the original artwork side by side, adjusting tones until it’s just right. The goal is always to make sure that what arrives at your door feels like the real thing - vibrant, rich, and full of life.
Printing
Each print is produced on premium, archival-grade paper using museum-quality inks. These prints are designed to last (no fading, no yellowing!) just beautiful, long-lasting colour that holds up over time. The team uses top-of-the-line printers that deliver that 'wow' factor in every single piece.
There’s something nostalgic about the smell of ink and the hum of the machines to me. It reminds me of home. My dad was a printer for many years, so I grew up around paper stocks, colour swatches, and the quiet precision of the print process. It feels full-circle to now be working so closely with an experienced local team, making sure every detail is just right.
Quality Check & Packaging
Before a print leaves the studio, I check it personally (yes, every single one!) to make sure it meets the highest standards. From there, it's carefully packaged and sent on its way to you - whether you're styling your own space or gifting it to someone special.
Why it matters
I love this part of the process, collaborating with experts who truly care about quality as much as I do. It means that every print you order has been created with intention, from first brushstroke to final wrap.
Because when you choose a fine art print, you’re not just buying an image, you’re investing in craftsmanship, intention, and something that’s meant to stay with you.
Love the process? You can bring one of these archival-quality pieces into your home.
